Financial Accountant

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage the full financial accounting function
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Analyse manufacturing and production costs
• Manage raw material costing , inventory valuation and cost allocations
• Monitor product costing and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Work closely with plant and operational management
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements
• Drive continuous improvements in financial controls and reporting

What We’re Looking For:

• BCom Accounting or related finance qualification (essential)
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant within a manufacturing, factory or plant environment (head office-only experience will not be suitable)
