Financial accountant (ftc)

Successful incumbent will have a completed B. Com (Accounting) / similar degree, coupled with a minimum of 3-5 years related commercial experience preferably within the Manufacturing sector. Completed SAICA Articles will be highly advantageous. Responsibilities

KPI's include: PO conversions – review and approve all non-stock and CAPEX purchase orders; approve and review all manual journals in line with manual JV SOP; analysis and review of the GL (IFRS and USGAAP); management reporting pack preparation; ensure continuous update of all policies and procedures; compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations and finance-related regulations, guidelines and codes of best practice such as SARS, STATSSA; SARB, Companies Act, VAT Act; SOX Act, Tax Act and maintenance and accuracy of the Wear and Tear Register; B/S reconciliations; full fixed assets management and assist the Financial Manager and Financial Executive with ad hoc tasks as required.
