Job Description

Lexdan Select is assisting a manufacturer with their search for an accountant based in Blackheath, Cape Town.

This role is fully onsite with a salary range of R30 000 to R50 000 p.m.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Handle cost accounting, stock reconciliations, and inventory valuation
  • Support production teams with budgets and cost control
  • Review purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Help identify cost-saving opportunities on the plant floor
  • Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams

Requirements:

  • 4–8 years' accounting experience
  • Solid grasp of cost accounting and inventory management
  • Comfortable using Excel and an ERP/accounting system
