Interim Finance Manager - General Fund Housing

Local Government | 6 Months | Hybrid Working | £500 per day

Sellick Partnership is recruiting an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support a busy, high‑performing General Fund Housing service within a respected local authority. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic public‑sector finance professional to add real value during a critical period of change and financial pressure.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior housing leaders, the Interim Finance Manager will take the lead on all financial management activity across the General Fund Housing portfolio. You will provide robust technical and strategic support covering:

Budget setting, monitoring and forecasting
Monthly reporting, variance analysis and financial modelling
Oversight of temporary accommodation, homelessness, allocations and housing needs budgets
Supporting savings plans, service redesign and cost...
