MacKenzie King are proud to be working with a well-established and growing business based in Ipswich, to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a role with variety within a fast-paced and supportive environment, gaining exposure across a wide range of finance processes.
The successful candidate will have around 2 to 3 years' experience within a finance role and may be studying towards AAT Level 2 or 3, with a desire to continue progressing professionally. Previous experience across purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control will be essential.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and maintain an accurate purchase ledger
- Raise purchase orders and reconcile supplier statements
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly supplier payment runs
