Job Description
The Art Department at Middlebury College seeks Figure Models to pose nude for college-level studio art classes. Figure Models support the delivery of curricula, providing students with an opportunity to develop their visual art studies in a professional, controlled environment. Through working with Figure Models, students increase their perceptual skills; develop a deeper understanding of anatomy and proportion; and connect to histories of artistic production in order to create contemporary art.
This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Models will pose nude for individual classes.
+ Classes are three-hour periods with poses held up to 30-minute periods followed by 5-minute resting breaks.
+ There is a 15-minute break midway through the class.
