Job Description

The Field Welder will work on various structural steel erection projects. Responsibilities include off-loading and handling incoming steel, erecting structural steel and miscellaneous metals, bolting up and impacting, welding as required, and positioning steel by aligning holes and bolt-up locations. The role may also involve rigging and assisting in the setting of building modules. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Off-load and handle incoming steel materials.
• Erect structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
• Perform bolting and impacting.
• Conduct welding tasks as necessary.
• Position steel by aligning holes and bolt-up locations.
• Assist with rigging and setting building modules.
• Work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
