Job Description

Join a specialised engineering environment supporting advanced lithium battery systems used in underground mining locomotives. This role is ideal for a technically strong Electrical Field Service Technician who thrives in site-based environments and is comfortable working underground. You will be responsible for installation support, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems, ensuring optimal equipment performance in demanding mining conditions in Welkom.


Education:
  • NQF Electrical qualification (N3 N6), or
  • Electrical Diploma, or
  • Red Seal Electrician (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • Minimum 1 year of site-based or field service experience in an electrical capacity
  • Proven hands-on electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
  • Exposure to industrial or mining environments is essential
