Field Service Technician – Underground Mining Equipment

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Field Service Technician (Underground mining equipment) Located in Ontario (near Quebec). Schedule: 14-14 / 7-7 (subject to change).

Responsibilities

• The Field Service Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical aspects of underground mining equipment and components according to defined specifications and is also responsible for recent equipment commissioning and training at customer sites.
• Inspect equipment for proper performance and determine faults and malfunctions.
• Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts, components, or systems according to scope of work to restore equipment to original manufacturer specifications.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance.
