Field Service Engineer

This post is within the ALAS Posture & Mobility Service based at Treforest Industrial Estate. The successful candidate will be based in the community, repairing wheelchairs and will be provided with a UHB vehicle.
We are looking for two self‑motivated, organised, team‑player individuals who are patient‑focused and able to deliver high quality service to our users. A clean driving license is required for daily driving around South Wales. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical qualification is essential, as is the ability to use a range of engineering tools. Experience working with wheelchairs in a technical capacity and with people with a disability is desirable. The role requires flexibility and a commitment to part‑time out‑of‑hours emergency repair service.
Main duties of the job
- Repair and adjustment of wheelchairs, including fitting of wheelchair components.
