JOB SUMMARY: Messer Cutting Systems, located in Wisconsin, is a global supplier of cutting solutions for the metal-working industry.
We are looking in Omaha, Nebraska and the surrounding area for a qualified addition to the Field Service team.
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for Messer Cutting Systems machine installations, preventative maintenance, and service on machines throughout North America at various customer sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance of multi-axis CNC equipment at customer sites throughout North AmericaPerform machine and software upgradesTrain customers on the proper use and maintenance of the equipmentProperly handle 480VAC and conform to related safety proceduresInterpret mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materialsComplete required paperwork on time (e.g., service reports, discrepancy reports, expense reports, etc.) on a timely basisAchieve/main...
