Responsibilities

  • Ensure high availability and efficiency of gas engines and related equipment through effective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Swiftly responding to faults to optimise operational uptime.
  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance to avoid unnecessary part replacements and reduce downtime.
  • Provide technical support alongside other engineers and escalate issues to the senior field service engineer/ operations supervisor.
  • Handling emergency callouts promptly.
  • Managing oil sampling in compliance with established standards.
  • Accurately selecting, requesting, and managing parts, returning unused items to reduce waste.
  • Keeping van stock tidy and well-documented, promptly reporting any stock discrepancies.
  • Maintain communication with the Operations Supervisor
  • Document all visits and complete service reports to the required quality and timelines.
