Job Description

Job Title: Controls Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and service new and existing packaging equipment at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and support PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Codesys, SCL)
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to restore machine performance
  • Perform equipment audits to assess performance, reliability, and compliance
  • Modify and update control software and firmware for upgrades and custom applications
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and machine configurations
  • Provide on-site customer support and technical guidance
  • Train customers and operators on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety
  • Lead or coordinate field activities when assigned, collaborating with internal teams and customer personnel
