Field Safety Advisor

Overview

Our Health, Safety & Environment group is currently growing and is looking to add a Field Safety Advisor to the team, based in Edmonton, Calgary or Red Deer, AB. Reporting to the Regional Supervisor, the Field Safety Advisor provides support to supervisors, foremen and workers in the field and provides leadership and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of the assigned project. This position plays an important role in ensuring that Valard's safety culture has been established and adhered to in the field. This is a field-based position with 75% of the time spent on site.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible presence and safety resource in the field to ensure a safe work environment for all Valard employees, contractors, and visitors as per the Site Safety Management Plan (SMP)
