About The Role

Location: Athabasca, AB or Slave Lake, AB. We are seeking an experienced Natural Gas Engine Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oilfield natural gas engines and generators used in hydraulic pumping units and related applications. This role is not suitable for entry‑level or apprentice candidates. We will only be considering applicants with direct, hands‑on experience working on oilfield natural gas engines in the region. Wages will be based on experience & qualifications, and may not follow the posted ranges.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on natural gas engines and generators.
• Service and troubleshoot engines commonly used in oilfield applications, including but not limited to: 4.3L and 5.7L small block engines & engines used on hydraulic pumping units.
