Field Engineer

China Three Gorges Latam (CTG LATAM) is looking for an O&M Field Engineer to join our Operations and Maintenance team in Mexico City. This is a technical role serving as the company's independent technical presence across our renewable energy plant portfolio, combining hands-on troubleshooting expertise with recurring on-site oversight of O&M contractor performance across solar PV and wind assets. What you will do Perform field troubleshooting and technical diagnostics for solar PV and wind plant equipment, including inverters, trackers, SCADA, Power Plant Controllers, communication networks, protection systems, and substation equipment Investigate inverter alarms, recurring failures, trips, and abnormal operating conditions, identifying root causes and recommending permanent corrective actions Conduct recurring on-site visits across the plant portfolio to verify that O&M contractors are executing corrective, preventive, and remedial work correctly and in accordance with CTG technical ...
