Magil Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team!

Reporting to the Director of Field Operations , the Field Engineer will perform various duties while supporting the Site Superintendent. This position is also responsible for assisting in evaluation and solution of potential field problems as well as in the supervision of trade employees (e.g. electrical, piping, structural steel, rebar, duct work, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and execute project plans and schedules while ensuring it stays within budget
  • Ensure on-site safety and efficiency at all times
  • Obtain necessary information for engineers, designers, inspectors, municipal authorities, and owners
  • Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
