Field Engineer

About the role

As a Field Engineer, you’ll provide expertise in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of customer access and core networks; including Transmission, IP and Voice networks and services.

What you’ll be doing

• Network equipment installation and commissioning within schedule and on budget.
• QA of Network build including internal and external plant
• Diagnose and rectify faults on the network within SLA
• Ensure no unplanned network outages
• Inspect, observe and perform maintenance programs for the network to ensure it is maintained in optimal condition.
• Ensure that network restoration following any un-scheduled outage is achieved with minimum interruption to the operation of the network.
• Ensure that all planned network augmentation/upgrades are achieved with minimum disruption and with the customer satisfied.
