Field Dispatcher

A successful Field Dispatcher shall communicate with techs in the field, providing information necessary to complete the field work: This includes but is not limited to; support with troubleshooting, providing as-builds, directions to a location, and plant fiber information. The dispatcher will receive close-out information from the field and input the work info into various databases to fully close out each location. Efficiency and accuracy in transferring this information into databases are paramount for a dispatchers success. The dispatcher is required to maintain and update various databases in order to complete their job successfully. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of general office functions; proficient in the use of office software with emphasis on Microsoft and Google; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.
