Feed Truck Attendant

Hamiota Feedlot Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a full time Feed Attendant. We are a Custom Feedlot, backgrounding and finishing up to 12,500 head of cattle. We are located 3 miles west of Hamiota, MB on Road #469. Applicants must be punctual, reliable and work well with others. Electrical, plumbing, welding and cattle experience are assets.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Safely and efficiently delivering feed and water to cattle
• Operate and maintain working order and daily maintenance of truck and feed wagon and other equipment as required
• Work with nutritionist to ensure accurate feed rations are provided
• Load feed ingredients, monitor feed levels and quality
• Clean feed bunks and surrounding areas to minimize waste and maintain a healthy environment
• Ensure watering equipment is functioning well, maintained as needed and cleaned
