Responsibilities

  • Can perform guest and supplies inventory.
  • Completing all opening, closing and hygiene checklists.
  • Ensure that reservations of the day match the dining set-up per table.
  • Complete mis en place before, during and after operations.
  • Ensure all table set ups are sanitized and complete.
  • Take guests food and drink orders according to operational standards, ensuring accuracy of item ordered and guests preferences when communicated, and up‑selling whenever possible.
  • Memorize menu, daily specials and monthly promotions.
  • Deliver orders promptly from the kitchen or bar and observe the proper ordering procedures.
  • Inspect all items before serving, for appearance and temperature.
  • Assist in clearing tables as necessary.
  • Ensure all hygiene standards and procedures.
