Farm Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Diagnose livestock health issues
• Handle animals and monitor animal health
• Oversee clearing of fields
• Treat livestock health issues
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
• Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed
• Maintain livestock performance records and quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop‑related operations
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Perform general farm duties

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: 2 to 3 years
• Familiarity with automated irrigation, manure handling, feeding/watering systems, fertilizer applicators, harvesters, sprayers, tractors
• Authorized to work in Canada
