In Your Role You Will

  • Travel in your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed ) to family homes and communities in the service area.
  • Determine family needs/develop goal-based service plans through assessments and discussions with the youth/families.
  • Record and report client progress.
  • Provide resources and model communication, boundaries, behavior management, child development, effective problem solving or other relevant information related to outlined client goals.
  • Support children & families to connect with community resources/programs (recreation, child care, employment supports & job coaching, addictions support, family counselling, etc.) to build a support network for future growth and success.
  • Advocate for clients when appropriate.
