Job Summary

The role is a full‑service family physician at GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel, BC. This position includes on‑call Emergency Department coverage and optional practice areas such as intrapartum obstetrics, family‑physician anesthesia, family‑physician oncology, surgical assistance, and OAT clinic shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients in the community.
  • Serve as the on‑call Physician in the Emergency Department with a 1:7 coverage schedule.
  • Optional: perform intrapartum obstetrics.
  • Optional: deliver family‑physician anesthesia for surgeries.
  • Optional: provide family‑physician oncology care (training funding available).
  • Optional: assist in surgeries.
  • Optional: work OAT clinic shifts (training funding available).
