Job Description
The Penticton UPCC consists of family physicians (FPs), nurse practitioners (NPs), a registered nurse team lead, primary‑care registered nurses (RNs), social workers (SWs), medical office assistants (MOAs), and a dedicated operational manager.
The Center focuses on members of the general population with non‑life‑threatening illnesses or injuries who need same‑day care, including unattached patients and those on the Patient Attachment List (PAL).
Urgent primary‑care services are available:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 – 16:00
- Weekday evenings: 17:00 – 20:00
- Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 12:00 – 18:00
The UPCC invites family physicians to join a collaborative team, coordinate urgent care, and provide care in a flexible schedule that complements existing practice or personal commitments.
The UPCC offers leadership development opportunities through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
