This position as a Family Practitioner requires you to have a CPSBC license and a CCFP certification. Your role will involve engaging with W’SANEC communities to implement comprehensive health care accountability measures. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working to foster Indigenous cultural safety and relational health care approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medical care in collaboration with local health directors
• Support trauma-informed care and Indigenous cultural practices
• Monitor clients on Opioid Agonist Treatment
• Collaborate with community services and emergency departments
• Transition care services between Tsawout First Nation and WSANEC clinic
