Family Physician (Contract) (Estevan)

Overview

The community of Estevan, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a team‑oriented and professional family physician to join our health care team.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide primary health care services to the community of Estevan and its surrounding area. The physician will collaborate with other medical professionals to support acute care and emergency services in the region. The physician will also partner in the educational needs of medical students, residents, nursing staff, and allied health professionals, and may become involved in the academic efforts of the Department of Family Medicine.

Job Qualifications

• Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
• Regular or provisional license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (or eligible to be licensed)
