Family Physician - Anesthesia (Contract) (Estevan)

Job Description

The community of Estevan, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is actively recruiting a family medicine physician with enhanced anesthesia skills to support anesthesia needs in Estevan and Weyburn.

In addition to providing 1‑2 days per week of anesthesia services, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide additional services such as community primary health care, inpatient and long‑term care, and emergency room care.

As a member of the surgical services team, the candidate will provide an equitable share of on‑call anesthesia services in a 1:3 rotation.

St. Joseph’s in Estevan is a fully accredited hospital with two operating theatres, a labour and delivery ward, a 24‑hour emergency room, an inpatient unit, a diagnostic imaging department with a CT scanner and a dialysis unit.
