Job Overview

Responsibility: The nominated Risk and Opportunity Manager is responsible for managing risk and opportunities relevant to the accountable Manager’s business. This includes covering the entire business context, operational work and executed processes.

Duties

A Risk and Opportunity Manager shall act in the spirit of the Airbus Group Policy CDS-009 'Enterprise Risk Management' and perform the following activities:

  • Establish the context and prepare the ROM plan
  • Schedule, initiate, manage with ROM stakeholders and execute ROM process activities (according to Figure 1)
  • Clarify accountabilities (especially: R/O owner, R/O response action owner)
  • Promote an anticipation and ROM‑oriented mind‑set
  • Close follow‑up of successful execution of risk treatment actions
  • Provide assurance/advice to management regarding the achievement of:
    • Reliability of financial reporting
