Failure Analysis Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to perform detailed failure investigations, manage aspects of our metallurgical laboratory, and work directly with clients. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands on testing experience, and the ability to work in a small team environment. Responsibilities and compensation will scale with experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct failure analyses on components and mechanical systems.
• Perform self-guided research and testing to support analysis findings
• Prepare detailed engineering failure analysis reports and present findings to clients.
• Perform and oversee mechanical testing and metallurgical evaluations.
• Coordinate and supervise lab technicians.
• Perform specialized lab testing procedures.
