Failure Analysis Engineer

Your Role

• Manage and perform EFI, sample preparation, physical analysis, chemical analysis activities on product FA (operational and engineering)
• Lead gap analysis, new machine evaluation, and new method development
• Interface with product division and manage transfer plan

Key Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Background in electronics, electrical, or microelectronics, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering, and physics
• Experience in schematic design, electrical analysis, electrical simulation, or analog systems
• Advanced knowledge of electronics theory and practice
• Familiarity with analysis instruments such as auto curve tracer, thermal analysis, EMMI/OBIRCH, wave generator, and others
• Ability to analyze electronic schematic documents
• Cross-functional collaboration with global teams (R&D, divisions, labs, etc.)
