Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and efficiency of company facilities. This role ensures the workplace environment is safe, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with operational requirements. The Facilities Manager manages vendors, maintenance teams, space planning, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilities Operations & Maintenance
Oversee building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs
Ensure all facilities systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety) are functioning properly
Conduct regular inspections to maintain operational standards
Manage office space planning and workstation allocation
2. Vendor & Contract Management
Manage third-party vendors (security, cleaning, maintenance, pest control)
Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements
