Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures all mechanical systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, OSHA, local building codes).
- Develops and oversees preventive/predictive maintenance programs to optimize system performance and longevity.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams including electrical, civil, and structural, R and D engineers on facility projects.
- Prepares technical reports, specifications, and scope of work for repairs, upgrades, and new installations.
- Manages external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality and EHS standards.
- Monitors department budget related to mechanical systems maintenance and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of system maintenance, inspections, and modifications (breakdown history records).
- Prepare reports on system performance and compliance for management and audits.
