**Job Description**
This role focuses on fabricating and fitting structural and sheet metal components in a job shop manufacturing environment. You will interpret job orders, bills of materials, and blueprints to create accurate cut lists, lay out materials, and prepare assemblies for welding. While other team members can perform welding and shearing, you will add value by bringing strong layout, fitting, and fabrication skills to support a wide variety of custom projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Review job orders and bills of materials (BOMs) to identify all required parts and materials, ranging from simple to complex assemblies with up to 25 components.
+ Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to develop accurate cut lists, including dimensions such as length, width, and angles.
