Job Description

Core Requirements

Fabric & Data Engineering

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric - OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory / Data Pipelines, Synapse Data Engineering
  • Solid Python, PySpark, and SQL
  • Good understanding of data modelling - star schema, medallion architecture, ideally Data Vault
  • Experience with modern ELT/ETL approaches

BI & Reporting

  • Strong Power BI skills - semantic (tabular) modelling, advanced DAX, Power Query (M)
  • Report and dashboard design, including workspace and deployment management

Engineering Practice

  • Comfortable working with version control and CI/CD for data workloads (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy - including GDPR - as core parts of the build, not an afterthought
