EYFS Teaching Assistant

At St Nicholas C of E Primary School, our vision is clear: Aim high, be courageous, show love and kindness. We are seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and caring Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant who will bring this vision to life every day—supporting our youngest learners to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The role is permanent, working 30 hours 50 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 8.40am – 3.20pm (Term time plus 1 week). Starting September 2026. Salary Scale: Band F (7–11) – Pro-rata.

The Role

We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work as part of our dedicated Early Years team, supporting teaching and learning within our Reception provision. The successful candidate will help create a stimulating, nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn.
