Overview

SEN Teaching Assistant role in Leyland for a full-time position in a Reception class, supporting on a 1:1 basis. The role is long-term temporary, starting in September and running until December 2026, with the potential to be extended.

The school is looking for someone with experience working with children who display challenging behaviour or learners with complex needs, including ADHD and Autism. The environment encourages creative learning and an innovative approach.

Responsibilities

The role involves providing 1:1 support in the Reception class and assisting the class teacher to manage behaviours and support learners with complex needs.

Requirements

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with complex needs
