Job Description
Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, labeling).
Support with plating dishes, prepping ingredients, and restocking stations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste.
Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines (HACCP or local standards).
Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO).
Assist with event setups, buffets, and catering preparations when required.
Work flexibly in various kitchen roles depending on daily needs.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
