Overview

Extended Day Program Support Worker (Contract). The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) is seeking individuals to provide supervision and support in before and after school programs for children aged 4 to 12. The position may have multiple work locations; refer to the vacancy listing for details.

Responsibilities

  • Provide active and engaged supervision to children aged 4–12 in before and after school programs.
  • Provide opportunities that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Nurture and support children and their families; provide program support for children with identified needs requiring additional assistance.

Qualifications

  • Diploma from one of the following: Child and Youth Development, Developmental Service Worker, or Recreation & Leisure programs.
  • Experience working with Kindergarten and/or School Age children.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR.
