Process Operators at Yara Pilbara typically:
Safely operate and monitor plant systems and equipment (including Utilities, Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate, and Bulk Handling areas) in both field and control room settings, in accordance with standard operating conditions and procedures. Conduct plant startups, shutdowns, routine checks, sampling, and first-line maintenance, responding to deviations and initiating corrective actions where necessary. Prepare equipment for maintenance, issue permits, and verify safe work requirements in line with PTW and isolation procedures.
