Position Summary:
The Rail and Export Logistics Coordinator manages the supply of rail equipment, the delivery of rail shipments to customers, and export documentation.
Location: Wilsonville, OR - On site with potential for one day a week hybrid.Duration: Direct HireCompensation: $65k-$75k/year
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage rail car orders and shipments to ensure adequate supply and timely delivery. Provide customer service and respond to inquiries or complaints regarding rail transportation services. Monitor and track rail service and shipments and report on performance. Maintain and negotiate rail freight rates and fuel surcharges. Receive Logistics Manager approval for negotiated rates. Monitor rail tariffs for updates and implement changes. Define rail routes for optimal service and cost. Manage demurrage and dispute freight bills as needed.
