Export Control Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for an Export Controls Specialist to support a Canadian space company by ensuring full compliance with Canadian and U.S. export control regulations. Reporting to the Manager, Trade Compliance, this role is responsible for administering export permits, licenses, and regulatory assessments across the full program lifecycle from early data release through final product delivery. This individual will play a hands‑on role in Canadian and U.S. export controls, balancing regulatory requirements with business needs, and partnering closely with internal stakeholders, government agencies, and global MDA locations. The ideal candidate has direct export controls experience (not logistics or customs) and is comfortable working in a regulated, security‑sensitive aerospace/defense environment.
