Job Description
Lead impactful exploration projects as an Exploration Coordinator at Agnico Eagle in Atikokan, Ontario. This role requires leveraging geological skills and leading field teams effectively.
As part of Agnico Eagle's Ontario Regional Exploration team, you will report to the Exploration General Supervisor. Your expertise in geology will be essential in planning and delivering exploration programs, including drilling and mapping. You'll lead field teams, mentor geologists, and manage data integration to support project advancement while promoting Agnico Eagle’s strong safety and environmental values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute exploration programs adapting to field conditions
• Lead field teams and contractors to ensure efficiency
• Mentor and develop geologists and students on site
• Integrate geological data to refine models and targets
• Prepare internal technical reports and proposals
Requirements:
• Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
