Responsibilities
- Provide production support for the Linux/Unix infrastructure.
- 24X7 Operational support Linux/Unix environment.
- Linux administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Linux user management and file permissions.
- Responsible to create file systems, disk partitioning and troubleshooting.
- Server Deployment, commissioning and decommissioning.
- Liaise with vendors to analyze crash dumps, or infrastructure problems.
- Ensuring the quality, and stability of the Unix/Linux environment and supporting business managers in planning project.
- Address incidents picked up by the monitoring systems alerting on Unix & Linux infrastructure within a timely manner.
