Job Description

Job Summary The Expert, Labour Relations is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and fostering solid working relationships with union representatives, colleagues, and clients to promote a cooperative and effective Labour Relations (LR) climate. The position exercises a strategic advisory role with various managers of its client group in order to implement working relations strategies adapted to various issues.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a partner to leaders by providing knowledge of how to properly handle LR issues, and provide advice on resolution
  • Interpret clauses in the collective agreement and apply them tactfully to ensure effective and informed decision‑making
  • Collaborate with the business to identify and prepare strategies related to LR issues
