Job Description
The Expert, Human Resources Compliance is responsible for ensuring Human Resources (HR) standards and policies are upheld in compliance with the Canadian regulatory framework. The role supports organizational obligations related to human rights, equity, privacy, and employment standards, as well as associated reporting processes, and provides advice and direction on the handling of workplace complaints and disputes.
The incumbent advises HR and Labour Relations colleagues on reasonable efforts to resolve workplace conflicts and may lead these efforts directly. The role also involves assigning investigation or conciliation mandates to neutral third parties when appropriate and ensuring mandates are carried out in accordance with legislation and regulations.
