Join Pidherneys Inc as a Water & Sewer Pipelayer and play a big role in building infrastructure around Alberta! In this hands‑on and demanding role, you’ll install water lines, sewer lines and storm drains using the latest equipment.

We’re looking for a self‑motivated individual who thrives in a challenging environment and has a sharp eye for quality control and safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lay out, assemble, install and maintain underground utilities according to blueprints, specifications and safety codes.
  • Pressure test water lines and force mains.
  • Check grades and ensure pipes, manholes and fittings are installed to the contract specifications and blueprints using levels or lasers.
  • Dig trenches to required depths by hand or using trenching tools.
  • Work hand in hand with Lead Excavator operators.
  • Carry out the site foreman’s directives safely throughout the day.
