C.R. Jackson is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our underground utilities crew. This position plays an important role in installing storm drainage, sewer, and water systems on road construction projects.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, understand the importance of safety, and work well as part of a respectful, team-oriented crew.
Position Responsibilities
• Prepare trenches and bedding to required specifications
• Set and maintain proper pipe grade using lasers and grade stakes
• Guide excavator operators during pipe placement
• Ensure proper pipe alignment, slope, and joint connections
• Install structures including catch basins, manholes, and junction boxes
