We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician, Plant Fitter, or Mobile Plant Engineer to maintain HGVs, forklifts, and port cranes. This physically demanding position requires flexibility for overtime, emergency call-outs, and participation in a 24/7 rota. You will be tasked with troubleshooting and repairing essential infrastructure in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair HGVs and heavy plant equipment
• Support maintenance of critical port infrastructure
• Perform fault-finding and diagnostic assessments
• Produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Collaborate effectively with the engineering team
Requirements:
• Recognized Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years...
