Job Description
ProAmpac is on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Millwright in Richmond, BC. This position focuses on maintaining high-performance packaging equipment through preventive maintenance and effective troubleshooting.
You will work under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, ensuring that plant machinery, such as slitting machines and extruders, operates without interruption. Your ability to read blueprints and fabricate parts will be valuable. You’ll also build positive relationships, contribute to safety, and promote transparent communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery components
• Fabricate and replace machine parts as needed
• Provide on-call support for equipment issues
• Maintain strong collaboration with team members
• Manage material orders and inventory
Requirements:
• BC or Interprovincial Millwright qualification (Red Seal required)
• Minimum 3-5 years’ manufacturing experience
